    Emily Scialabba MS, LPC, Owner

    Emily has been working in the Pittsburgh mental health field for the past nine years. Over the course of her career, Emily has worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples in a variety of different settings. Her extensive experience in the field has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges that individuals and families face when dealing with mental health issues.

    While Emily no longer sees clients in a clinical capacity, she has found fulfillment in her work as a leader and administrator at Fortified Souls. Through her leadership, Emily is able to ensure that the organization is providing the best possible care to each and every client.

    Jess Garrow, MA, NCC

    Jess is a Pre-Licensed Counselor that helps individuals and families overcome challenges and achieve their goals, with experience in a variety of therapeutic and educational settings. She believes in creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their unique experience, and works collaboratively to support clients identify goals and navigate challenges.

    As a therapist, she has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns. She is passionate about helping people work through difficult emotions, process traumatic experiences, and develop coping skills that help support a more meaningful life. She takes a compassionate and person-centered approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic techniques including Existential Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

    Jess specializes in adults of all genders with mood, anxiety, and personality disorders, life transitions, psychosis, and crisis counseling.

    Amber Rechichar, LPC

    Amber has been working in the Pittsburgh area behavioral health field for the last 10+ years with experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. Her goal is to offer you a space where you feel comfortable processing your emotions and learning to cope with the difficulties of everyday life. Wherever you may be on your life’s journey, she is here to meet you where you are with support and empathy while utilizing a person-centered, strength base and choice theory approach.

    Amber specializes in intimate partner violence, LGBTQIA+ issues, family members with substance misuse, and general life stressors and transitions ranging from adolescence to middle adulthood.

    Megan Labutka, MA, NCC, LPC

    Megan is a nationally certified Masters level clinician and Licensed Professional Counselor. She has experience in various levels of care including outpatient, in-school, and partial hospitalization. She received degrees in Developmental & Family Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

    Her outlook on therapy is based on the principle that we as humans are always changing and growing. Throughout life, we all face obstacles or challenges that we must work through in order to reach our optimal self. Her goal through therapy is to process current and past experiences in order to grow and identify how they impact the present and future. She uses Gestalt, Strengths-Based, Person-Centered, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approaches in her work to shape positive thinking and increase awareness. She strives to create a safe, empowering environment where you can learn and grow.

    Megan specializes in perinatal and postpartum issues, transitional stressors, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship stressors, and trauma. Megan's clients range from adolescence to middle adulthood. Megan also works with clients of all genders as well as those identifying as LGBTQIA+.

    Lindsay Tosh, MA, NCC, LPC

    Lindsay is a Licensed Professional Counselor and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with her Master's Degree. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of therapeutic settings. She is also trained in EMDR therapy and working towards her EMDR certificate. She is passionate about working with clients to help them find their true selves by examining their purpose and personal values. Working from an integrative approach based on both existential and narrative therapies, she believes counseling should take an individualized, holistic approach where people are able to find their true, authentic selves.

    Lindsay specializes in trauma work through talk therapy and EMDR, grief and loss, and neurodivergence in those ages 14 and up.

    Emily Green, MA, NCC, LPC

    Emily Green is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience in the mental health field since 2013. She received her Masters Degree in Counseling from Geneva College and her Bachelors Degree in Clinical Psychology from Robert Morris University. Emily has a background in working with children, adolescents, and adults in a residential, inpatient hospital, and community setting. Treatment modalities that Emily often utilizes but are not limited to: Person-Centered, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.

    Emily specializes in anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management, attachment issues, bipolar, psychotic-related disorders, self-esteem, grief and loss, and PTSD.

    Cheri Ledbetter, MS, MA, CAADC

    Cheri is a Masters level clinician, Certified School Counselor, as well as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has worked with many demographics and a variety of issues. She graduated with her first masters degree from Saint Vincent College in Counselor Education and went on for her second at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

    Cheri's belief is that through therapy we can begin to move toward self acceptance and wholeness. Cheri uses Person-Centered and Motivational Interviewing approaches.

    Cheri specializes in working with women ages 18-40 through life transitions such as career changes, education, relationships, and motherhood. She also treats anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
